SPEAKEASY (Bally 1982)
Main Objectives and Rules:
Card Sequence: The core goal is to hit the playing cards in sequential order.
Top Lanes: Complete the top rollover lanes in the strict numerical sequence of 5-6-7-8-9 to earn 2 extra/add balls.
Roulette Wheel: Land shots into the kick-out holes to spin the mechanical/playfield roulette wheel for big point awards.
Flyaway Targets: Shoot the 5-bank of flyaway targets to progress card states and feature collection.
Strategy and Tips:
The Sacrifice Button: Speakeasy features a special extra button on the left side of the cabinet. If you accidentally make a card or lane light out of sequence, you can press this button at the start of a new ball to cancel the mistake.
Weigh the Penalty: Utilizing the sacrifice button costs you a penalty of 25,000 points per canceled card. Only use this feature if you are prioritizing extending your game via extra balls over maximizing your raw score.
